SMITH, Joyce Smith - With great sadness, the family of Joyce Smith announce her passing on Saturday October 2nd, 2021.
Nan passed away peacefully in her 93rd year at home with loved ones by her side.
She will be remembered as our precious mom, devoted grandmother and Nan to everyone who met her.
Joyce was the second youngest of a family of 12 and is survived by her dear sister Francis Freeman (Nova Scotia).
Nan left behind her family of five, Barb Smith (Peter Yeomans), Greg Smith, Deborah Neal (Peter), Tim Smith (Shannon) and Liz Webster.
Ten wonderful Grandchildren Paul, James, Michael, Peter Jr., Nicholas, Rebecca, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Amy, and Sydney her Great Granddaughter.
Nana will be sadly and deeply missed by all who knew her. Known for her kind heart and loving nature, she will forever be in our hearts.
As per Nan’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Brain Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
