SHIRRAN, Margaret Elizabeth Anne (nee Crone) - Passed away with her husband by her side on Friday, November 5, 2021 at home at the age of 75.

Loving and devoted wife of Raymond Shirran for more than 54 years.

Margaret and Raymond are true soulmates, completely dedicated to each other and demonstrated to all family and friends what true love is. 

Beloved mother and cherished by her two daughters Brenda Lynn McLaughlin and Katherine Anne Mortimer.

Dearly loved by her sons (by marriage) Michael McLaughlin and Eric Mortimer.  

Adored by her grandchildren and lovingly known as Nana to Rachael-Anne Mortimer (Cody Wilson-Thorne), Avery Mortimer, Julia McLaughlin, Gabriel Mortimer and Bradley McLaughlin. Precious Nana G to Christopher and Charles. 

Treasured by her dear sisters and brothers in law Joan and David Burt and Florence and Keith Shirran and wonderful aunt to Tammy and Rodney. 

Sister to Deborah Smith and loved by nephews Stuart, Edward and Aaron.  Predeceased by her parents Howard and Alice Crone and parents-in-law Clement and Lucy Shirran.

The family will receive friends for a graveside service and reception by reservation. Please call the Mount Lawn Funeral Home to reserve your attendance.

Graveside service will be held at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11:30 am. Please meet in the parking lot to join the procession to the gravesite. A Celebration of Life reception to immediately follow at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association of Canada.
