Ang Dr CesarANG, Dr. Cesar-Vicente L., M.D. - (November 5, 1948 – November 7, 2021)

Dr. Cesar-Vicente Ang, aged 73, surgeon, doting grandparent, caring father, and devoted husband who adored his lovely wife Bernadette Morales Ang, quietly passed away on November 7, 2021 at the Sunnybrook Hospital.

Cesar was born and raised in Manila. His keen intellect brought him to University of the East High School and College, and later to UERMMMC where he studied medicine.

He went on to become an accomplished surgeon with complete residency at the San Juan De Dios Hospital.

He was a proud and well-respected doctor … a general surgeon who had made a difference and was well-loved by his patients and colleagues.

Cesar’s greatest feat was to help bring into this world four successful sons Cesar Vincent (wife Valerie & grandkids Ceyan, Nathanael, Paisley, Caleb, and Leila), Cesar Brennan (wife Adeline & grandkids Jeslyn, Cameron, Breanna, and Avalyn), Cesar Leynard (wife Holly & grandkids Nikko, Leyna, and Lorenzo) and Cesar Lawrence (wife Patty & grandkids Amelie and Ella).

Cesar, Bernadette and their kids would later move to New York in 1983. Then in 1990, after some years in the Big Apple, the family packed their belongings into their trusty (also, rusty) van Herbie and hit the highway for Toronto.

Cesar was a lover of good music, delicious food, the warm company of friends and family, and the laughter of 14 grandchildren who love their lolo.

A healer at heart, Cesar will also be remembered as a kind soul who was never too busy to listen to a friend’s fun and sorrows.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 19th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME on North, 5295 Thickson Rd., Whitby, ON L1M 1W9.

Online registration at its website, www.barnesmemorial.ca, is required for both visitation and funeral. Telephone no. 905-655-3662.

For funeral/burial/interment, family and friends can start arriving at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME at 9:00 am the next day, Saturday, November 20th. Then a procession will leave at 10:00 am to celebrate his life in a mass to be held at the Holy Family Church at 10:30 am at 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby.

Burial will be held at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 1757 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T 4R3 immediately after the mass.
