Hurteau WilliamHURTEAU, William Gregory Hurteau   -   April 6th, 1940 - January 7th, 2022

It is with deep sadness that William (Bill) Hurteau at the age of 81, passed away at The Village of Taunton Mills the morning of January 7th 2022.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate Frances Lynn Hurteau and his children Grant (Mimi)  and Krystal (Haron).

He was a cherished grandfather of Devin, Olivia, Roman and Dominik and will be lovingly remembered by extended family and friends.

Bill started working at the Royal Bank of Canada in Kirkland Lake and was transferred to other branches throughout the North.

He eventually retired from Plaza head office as Manager of Investment Industry Banking Retail.

After 39 years in the bank he decided to work at Sears Promenade for nearly 5 years.

He was passionate about sports and coached hockey and baseball. He served a term as General Manager of Goulding Park Arena in North York.

He enjoyed many staycations at Pigeon Lake over the summers and had hobbies of hunting, boating, fishing, golfing, and bowling.

He was always around to give a helping hand and share in laughter by always cracking a joke.  A heartfelt thank you to the staff of The Village of Taunton Mills for their care.

A cremation is taking place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
