Frans Eryn FayeFRANS, Eryn-Faye (Mallone) Frans  -

October 23, 1973 - February 2, 2024

Eryn-Faye was born Oct 23, 1973 in Vancouver, BC, the oldest of three children and the oldest cousin on both sides of her family.

Her family relocated back to Texas when she was 13.

Eryn-Faye graduated from law school in Glasgow, Scotland and with a Masters in Neuroscience from Kings College London, but academics was far from the centre of her life.

She loved fiercely and kept her home open to all with many people staying with her family over the years - some for short stints and some for years, depending on what they needed. All were always welcome.

Eryn-Faye married her college sweetheart (from different schools) Eric Frans in 1998 after a 6 year tumultuous, on and off courtship where she kicked him to the curb 3 times. But they finally got their act together and were married for 25 glorious years.

Her daughter Riley-Renee (19) was her greatest joy and the source of her deepest pride. Eryn-Faye was Canadas Passion Coach for many years, authoring books, speaking across the country, and coaching couples across North America and as far away as Hong Kong.

Eryn-Faye was beloved by those who knew her because she loved them. Always quick with a joke, loud with a laugh, and deep with her wisdom and perspective.

She would share it all freely and preferably over copious amounts of quality coffee or wine. Her circle of friends was wide and broad, but she always had a core group with whom she shared everything and built deep and lasting bonds - regardless of distance or time.

Eryn-Faye loved to travel and always felt home was simply where you were with those you loved. Over her life she saw most of Europe and Africa as well as many parts of Southeast Asia. She loved them all.

Family was everything to Eryn-Faye: her brother (Scott Mallone), sister (Meredyth Serrecchia and husband Ryan), as well as cousins she always considered “extra brothers” (Jonathon Applequist and Chris Applequist, Dustin Batalo and Dillon Batalo).

As Eryn-Faye lost her mom and dad in her youth, her Aunt Barbara Applequist (Sissy) and Uncle Bruce Applequist were her lifelong anchors. Eryn-Faye passed away peacefully in her sleep on Feb 2, 2024.

Her memory will always to a blessing to everyone who were blessed to know her.

There will be a private service.
