REES, Andrea Ethel (nee PROLE) -
June 6, 1946 - March 15, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrea Ethel Rees ( née Prole), our dear mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who passed peacefully, on March 15th, at the age of 77, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with her son and daughter by her side.
Andrea led an amazing life filled with family and friends. A kind and gentle soul, Andrea loved animals and was most happy with a kitty on her lap.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved partner, Steven Lee; children, Scott Rees (Rhonda) and Cynthia Robinson (Erroll); grandchildren, Jacklyn (Alex) and Jeffrey; and her siblings: Lorraine Runza (Gabriel), and Bill Prole (Hilda); predeceased by her sister, Pat Watson (Vic).
She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Our family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support at this difficult time. We would like to extend a special thanks to her dialysis teams in Whitby and Ajax; medical staff that have treated Andrea and all of the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the AJax Legion, 111 Hunt Street, Ajax, Ontario, on April 28th from 1 to 4 p.m.
