SHOREY, Victor James - (Retired after 36 Years of service with the RCMP)
Peacefully with his wife at his side on Saturday March 24th, 2018 at the age of 63.
Loving husband of Christa (Nee Sweeney).
Proud stepdad to Jeremy Nizio, Melissa and Tom Garrity, and Michael Nizio.
Adored grandfather of Elise, Annika, and Olivia Nizio, and Tommy and Johnny Garrity.
Dear brother of Roger Shorey and his wife Ann.
Cherished son of Joan and David, son in law of Christa Sweeney.
Victor loved life, travelling, outdoors and adored the cottage, and his pets Mia, C.A.T, and Smokey.
A special thanks to Dr. Graham, Dr. Kennedy and all of the nurses and doctors in the ER and C6 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOME, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595, on Saturday April 28th , from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa would be appreciated.
