KOVAC, Susanne Margaret (nee ARMSTRONG)   -  Passed away peacefully, on November 27, 2022, surrounded by her family, at the age of 74.

Born to Arthur and Violet Armstrong, February 15, 1948, she grew up in Hagerman's Corners (Milliken).

Married to Frank Kovac in 1969, they raised two sons, Larry and Jeff.

Sue had many interests, she loved sports, music, reading, movies, and theatre.

A kind and caring person, she returned to school, completing her degree at Ryerson, to further her career as an Early Childhood Educator. She felt honoured to work with so many talented people at Highview and Light of Christ Daycares.

She was extremely proud of her sons, Larry (Danielle) and Jeff (Fanny); and granddaughters, Julianne and Jessica.

Whether at the hockey arena, brownies, bike races or school events, Sue was there to support and cheer. To her granddaughter's hockey teammates, she was affectionately known as "Grandma Sue".

Susanne is survived by her husband, Frank; and her sister, Nancy (Wehrmann).

Predeceased by her parents and brothers, Larry and Bob Armstrong.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road in Scarborough, on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10th, at 2 p.m. with a Visitation one hour prior.

Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
