SAYKOWSKI, Boris - On June 1, 2023, Boris Saykowski, loving husband and devoted father, passed away at the age of 84.
Boris was born on November 11, 1938 in Montreal, Canada to Andrey Saykowski and Nadesda Babich.
He married Denise Desrosiers in 1965, and went on to raise their son, Sebastien Saykowski.
He eventually studied business administration and acquired his MBA in 1975 at Concordia University to eventually reach the position of CFO in several large Canadian companies.
Boris cherished long drives to the lakeside accompanied by his family, creating cherished memories at their cottage.
A passionate music enthusiast, he was also fond of comedy shows and classic westerns.
Boris was known for his steadfast commitment to his wife and son, consistently prioritizing their needs and well-being in his actions.
Boris found pleasure in life's simple joys and left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate to know him. Boris was preceded in death by his wife, Denise; his father, Andrey; his mother, Nadesda; and his brother, Walter.
He is survived by his son, Sebastien; and his two sisters, Annie and Laura.
A funeral service will be held at the Collins Clarke funeral home (Pointe Claire) on Sunday, July 2 at 2 p.m.
