IANTORNO, Salvatore "Sammy" - God called Salvatore, who peacefully passed on March 21, 2024, at the age of 90.
He was a respected fellow in his community, a visionary and a member of the Freemasons and Lions club.
He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Assunta; his parents, Attilio and Carmela; and his brothers, Luigi and Paolo.
Cherished by his dear children, Ralf (Nadia), Lina Iantorno (Shane Archdall) and Anna (Paolo Cancian).
Proud Nonno to Samantha, Justin, Sonia, Lucas, Cristian, Stefan and Adrian.
Salvatore will always be remembered by his siblings, Frank and Angela. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and many friends.
If so desired, donations in memory of Salvatore may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel, 8101 Weston Rd., on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 150 St. Francis Ave. (north of Rutherford Rd.).
