HARRIS, Margaret - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Margaret Thompson Harris (Shaw) on March 17, 2024, at the age of 71.
Predeceased by her parents, Victor and Helen Shaw; husband, William Harris; daughter, Ashley; and brother, Grant.
Margaret was a loving mother to Robert (Victoria); and grandmother to Charlotte.
Cherished sister to Maureen (Gene) and Brian (Angela); and sister-in-law to Millie (John), Margaret (Lorne), Roberta (Mark) and Cindy.
Loving aunt to Shannon, Esther (Dave), Sarah (Luca), Erin (Steve), Rebecca (Jay), Michael (Lisa), Matthew (Chrystal), David (Amanda), Melinda (Phil), Andrew, Mark (Pamela), Daniela (Brendan) and Brandon. She also had many great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly.
Margaret attended George Harvey C.I. before her career at Ontario Hydro, and North York and Pace Credit Unions.
Visitation at Highland Funeral Home Markham Chapel Sunday, March 24th 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., March 25th, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Funeral service held Monday, March 25th at 1:30 p.m., reception to follow.
