GARTON, Ronald Wilfred 'Ron' - Passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 28, 2018 in his 84th year.
Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Jessica and his first wife Ruby Yeo.
Missed and loved by his wife Martha, sister Marilyn Martin, daughter Janet Garton (Kathleen), son David Garton and step-daughters Margaret Crowley (John), Mary McLaughlin (Dave), Brenda Ciglen (Davin) and Barbara Matthews (Michael).
Poppa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jordyn and Kaitlyn Garton-Bevan, Ashley Garton and Lucas Muir, Curtis, Dustin and Alex Crowley, Nick McLaughlin and Christy Graves (Eric), Madison Ciglen, Robert and Lisa Matthews. He will also be missed by his 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life followed by internment of the ashes will be held at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, Brampton on Saturday September 8th from 12 – 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice.
