MacLEOD, Shirley Aileen (nee GREEN) - October 20, 1960 - August 17, 2018
After a courageous 5 year battle with cancer, Shirley passed peacefully with her loving sisters holding her (Bridgepoint Hospice - Toronto).
Loving mother of Kaitlin; beloved daughter of Aileen Williams and the late Bill Green; beloved sister to Trudy, Marilyn and George; beloved Aunt to Kim, Darren and Ashley; beloved Great-Aunt to Brett, Carter, McKayla, Hailey and Willow; Best friend to Ruth and the late Maureen.
She will be missed by her many relatives, friends and co-workers (Toronto Public Library - 43 years).
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Bridgepoint who cared for her.
The loss of her warm, loving and vibrant personality will leave a void in the lives of many. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Memorial service to be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Home, North York, on Thursday, September 13th. Visitation 2-3 p.m., Memorial Service 3 p.m., Reception approximately 4-6 p.m.
