MUTRIE, Robert (Bob) Meredith  - Died on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the age of 85.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Fergus and Grace and his wife of 55 years, Jean.

Bob loved being the father of Jeff (Laurie), Lynne (Peter Spir) and Alison (Peter Pfenning) and grandfather of Sarah, Jennifer, Lauren and Ryan.

Bob was born in Vernon, BC, April 25, 1933 and grew up there and in Vancouver before moving to Toronto to finish high school and earn a degree at the University of Toronto, School of Architecture.

He and Jean started their family in Vancouver and moved back to Toronto in 1967 to be closer to his parents and the Six Mile Lake cottage he helped build where his family and friends still gather and enjoy.

He had a keen interest in history, politics and computers and loved canoe trips with family and friends.

Bob's passion and care for the community continues to be seen in the buildings he designed locally and abroad along with his legacy of assisting with numerous local elections.

Friends and family may join a memorial reception at the McLean House at the Estates of Sunnybrook (2075 Bayview Avenue, south of Lawrence), on Saturday, December 15, 1-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
