EIDT, John Wilfred Stephen - It is with heavy hearts that we announce John's passing on December 17, 2018.
After a brief and courageous struggle with cancer, John passed peacefully at his home in Tottenham, Ontario with family by his side.
Born September 12, 1942 in Chatham, Ontario to parents Fred and Dorothy (Pugh) Eidt.
John is dearly missed by his wife Jane Lind and children Robert (Eryn), Stephen, Mindy, John, Ian (Kelly), Tim and grandchildren Thomas, Lauren, Rachel, Kyle, Adam, Kennedy, Campbell, Callaghan and Jack. John is also survived by his loving sister Eleonore Edmunds and her children Mark, Scott, Todd and Kelly.
The family wishes to express our gratitude to St. Elizabeth Health Care for the comfort and support they provided over the final few months of his life.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held on January 6, 2019 at 2 p.m. at The Boulevard Club in Toronto.
