Fraser AlexanderFRASER, Alexander  -  Died peacefully, at home in Toronto, surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in his 85th year.

Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, son of Gordon A. Fraser, QC and Margaret (Phillips) Fraser.

Loved and beloved husband for 60 years of Dolores Ann Fraser (née Cronmiller, originally of Niagara Falls) and wonderful father to Elizabeth Fraser (Shaun O'Neill) of Melbourne, Australia, Donald Fraser (Mary Sue Baigent) and Patricia Fraser both of Toronto.

Only brother of Margot Kenney (Fraser), predeceased by brother-in-law Cameron Kenney, sister-in-law Corinne Scollard and brother-in-law Alphonse Scollard.

An amazing Granddad who was a delight to his six grandchildren who loved him dearly, Kate O'Neill of Melbourne, Australia and Jessie, Angus and Ella Fraser and Kiah and Jordan Solomon all of Toronto. Special uncle to his nieces and nephews – the Scollard Five and the Kenney Four.

Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew him and were touched by his engaging presence and humour. Alex was a man who loved his family, people in general, sports he played and his beloved cottage on Riley Lake in Muskoka where he had constant projects on the go and where so many fond family memories were made.

There will be a Memorial Mass celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 16 Lockwood Rd., Toronto, on Friday, January 11th at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Médecins Sans Frontières would be welcomed.

The family would like to thank the palliative care team at The Temmy Latner Centre at Sinai Health, especially Dr. Joshua Wales and the caregivers from Spectrum, Sharon and Emi, who made it possible for Alex to remain at home during the final chapter of his life.
