Edna was a strong, independent and generous person who enjoyed living a busy life.

Her younger years were spent entertaining friends and family, accompanying Bob to numerous political career events, volunteering at Scarborough General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Scarborough Kiwanis, founding member of IODE Bridlewood Chapter and working at the family florists, James White & Sons and Bob White Flowers.

After Bob's passing, Edna lived many years in Bobcaygeon and Lindsay, where she continued volunteering and leading an active social life. Passing time and declining health eventually required a move to assisted care facilities.

A special thank you goes to the staff at Extendicare Port Hope (Mowat) for the wonderful care and compassion these past two years.

At her request there will be no funeral. Interment will take place in the Spring in Scarborough.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to IODE Bridlewood Chapter, Scarborough General Hospital or Princess Margaret, or a charity of your choice.
