SKINNER, Marcella (Sally) (nee Tremblett) - (May 9, 1929 - January 30, 2019) - In her 90th year. Sally, revered mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Predeceased by Marven (Hank), her beloved husband of 58 years; her sister Marie Legge and brothers Edmund Tremblett, Joseph Tremblett and Gus Tremblett. Survived by her brothers Robert Tremblett, Frank Tremblett and her sister Matilda Sweeney.
Sally will be lovingly remember by her children and their spouses; Wayne (Jane), Paul (Kathy), Brian (Linda) and David (Christina). She is adored by her grandchildren: Annie and Sarah and their mother Linda; Thomas, Daniel, Jennifer, Katie, Sharlene and Christopher; great grandchildren: Quinne, Cleo, Willem, Benjamin, Cora, Fife and Leighton; and all of her wonderful nieces and nephews.
Sally was unwavering in her support of her family and friends, and possessed a remarkable ability to make everyone close to her special. She was a 48 year volunteer at Centenary Hospital and she loved her garden, her bridge clubs and Mother Nature. Sally was loving and unselfish and her faith guided her throughout her life. She will always hold a special place in all our hearts.
Visitation will be held at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd., Toronto, on Monday, February 4th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 21 Markanna Drive, Scarborough, on Tuesday, February 5th at 11:30 am. Reception at QSSIS Banquet Hall, 3474 Kingston Rd., Toronto, on Tuesday, February 5th, from 12:30 pm to 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Rosalie Hall, 3020 Lawrence Ave. East, Scarborough.
