EVANS, Melvyn  -  Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Brampton Memorial Hospital on Saturday 27th July 2019.

Beloved Husband to Jean and loving Father to Darren and Claire, Father In Law to Johanna, and Son In Law Gavin.

He will be deeply missed by his Grandchildren, Griffyn, Aiden, Charlotte, Madeline and Olivia.

Cherished Son of Evan Arthur, and Harriet Evans (Deceased) A loving older Brother to Gillian and Brother In Law David. Uncle to John, Ceri, and Anna.

Melvyn was born May 12th 1943 in Ruthin, North Wales. Melvyn and family moved to Canada in 1977. The decision to leave England was a turning point, which proved to be a good choice for the whole family.

Melvyn worked in the Airline Industry as a Mechanic. Mel was an avid Classic Volvo car enthusiast, with a special interest in all motor sports.

Traveling and spending time with family were important to him.

Melvyn was a strong willed man who could, and did take on any task, large or small and see it through to the end. He was certainly a man of many skills.

A dependable man, who was true to anyone who knew him. Mel leaves behind many lasting and fond memories for us all.

Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, Brampton Chapel, 289 Main St. North, Brampton, ON., on Wednesday, July 31st, from 1pm to 2pm, followed by service from 2pm to 3pm.
