FAVA, Antonio - Peacefully, with his grandson by his side, Antonio passed away at Toronto General Hospital on December 6, 2019, after a long and dedicated fight with many illnesses.
Born on December 15, 1936, in Stignano, Reggio di Calabria, Italy, to the late Vincenzo and Carmela Fava. Beloved husband of 59 years to Vittoria Fava.
Cherished father of Nicholina and Tony Rizzotto, Lilliana Colafranceschi, and Vincenzo and Lucy Fava.
Proud Nonno of Amanda, Michele, Matthew, Chiara, Daniel, Marco, Ariana and Luca. Dear brother of Vincenzo and Lisa, and Gina and Salvatore. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at Jerrett Funeral Homes (1141 St. Clair West), Toronto on Sunday, December 8th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
A mass will be held at St. Nicholas Di Bari Catholic Church (1277 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto) on Monday, December 9th at 11:15 a.m.
