Kim YongKIM, Yong Chul - Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2020 in the comfort of his home.

Born on October 5, 1932 in Haeju, Hwanghae-do, Korea. Yong Chul Kim later married his wife, In Ja Kim in 1958. Together with his wife, they raised their 4 loving children, 2 sons, Han Seok, Han Joon, and 2 daughters, Hee Sun, and Young Sun.

With his family by his side, Yong Chul moved to Toronto, Canada in 1987. They have called it home ever since, and they have continued to build warm and happy memories to last a lifetime.

He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, such as fishing, wrestling, golfing, and travelling with his family. He was a family man and loved with his whole heart. He will be remembered as a man who went to great lengths for his family, and who loved his family unconditionally.

He was a loving grandfather to “Bo Bae” Lina Sae-Hee Ahn, Michelle Yae-Rim Park, Irene Chaewon Kim, Ivy Seunghyun Kim, Connor Joontae Kim, and Dylan Joonyong Kim. He was also a loving father-in-law to Gi Hyun, Tammy, Whuijun, and Jiwon.

We will love and miss him forever and hope he will be watching over us. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so very grateful for everything you have done, for loving us, and for being our dad and our grandfather.

Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, Toronto on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm followed  by the service.
