ELVINS, James 'Jim' Douglas - (September 23, 1951 - January 26, 2020)
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of James (Jim) Elvins in his 69th year at the Brantford General Hospital surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband of Lynn for 43 years, cherished father of Sarah (Will), Justin (Julia) and Jeremy.
“God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be; So he put his arms around you, And whispered, “come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away; Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay, A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date. Arrangements with Tranquility services.
