Johnson BrianJOHNSON, Brian Joseph - Passed away peacefully on the morning of March 17, 2020 at the age of 73.

Survived by his wife, Dianne, two sons, Matthew (Agata) & Nicholas, sister, Joanne, and Grandson, Leo.

Brian was predeceased by his brother Kevin and sister Kathy.

Born in Montreal on January 5, 1947 to William Bernard Johnson and Katherine Marie Hammill. Brian was a graduate of Loyola High School, Concordia University, received a law degree from the University of Montreal, and passed the Ontario Bar Exams.

In 1981, Brian and his wife, Dianne moved from Montreal to Toronto and eventually adopted their sons, Matthew & Nicholas. In addition to having a successful law career, Brian, with his wife, Dianne, founded Junior Academy in 1988, one of Toronto’s highly respected private elementary schools.

Brian always maintained a positive outlook on life and although his health declined in recent years, he never let this obstacle deter him from experiencing many adventures with his family including travelling to Europe, California, Florida, and his home away from home, the Cayman Islands.

Up until his final days in hospital, Brian continued to speak fondly of his relationships with his many close friends in both Montreal and Toronto.

The family would like to thank everyone who contributed to Brian’s happiness during his lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in the name of Brian Johnson to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada: phacanada.ca/donate
