MONDROW, Ettie - On Wednesday May 13, 2020, at the age of 95.

Dear wife of the late Harold (Monty) Mondrow, Mother and Mother-in-law of Lee and Monica Mondrow, Arlene Brunetto.

Boobie to Jake Mondrow, Aysan Gharajehlou, Jordan Brunetto, Zachary Brunetto and the late Chloe Mondrow. Sister and sister-in-law to Annie and Leonard Schacter, Sister-in-law to Bill and Trudy Mondrow.

Ettie was a beautiful special person both inside and out.  She called everyone sweetheart and darling. Ettie was a devoted wife to Monty, kind, caring and devoted mother to Lee, Monica and Arlene, and loved and adored all her grandchildren, Jake, Aysan, Jordan, Zachary, and the late Chloe.

She won beauty contests in her youth, modeled for Eleanor Fulcher Agency, she could dance and sing and loved to sew. She made all her own clothes and even clothes for other people. She would talk to anyone no matter their age or their heritage, it didn’t matter. Anyone who met her loved her immediately. She was a very modern woman considering she grew up in the Depression times. We are so grateful that we had our Mom and Boobie for all these special years.

We love you and will miss you forever

Donations in Ettie’s memory may be made to CAMH (416) 789-7957  ext. 3147

Private Family Funeral service on Thursday, May 14th will be live-streamed. Please go to smclive.ca.
