BERTOLI, Ines Lucia - It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we pronounce the death of Ines Lucia Bertoli on Wednesday, May 13th, 2020 at the age of 94.
Determined life partner of Luigi Bertoli and proud mother of the original four: Daniela, Davide, Patrick, and Lysena. She delighted at the arrival of her beloved grandchildren :Katherine, Caroline, Craig and Lauren. She rejoiced at meeting her Great grandson Carson Bertoli!
She left hard times in Italy for a better life in Canada and over the following 7 decades she and her husband Luigi built the better life they were seeking. She kept going and going and fooled us into thinking she would never stop.
She will be remembered for her adventurous dreams, as an avid reader, for her love of travel, fine food, fashion and song. She was a spirited player of games, her clear eyed unsentimental view of nature informed her love of gardening. And her vision for an ordered landscape under God.
