Da SILVA, Rui Antonio - God called Rui peacefully at home on Tuesday June 2nd, 2020 at the age of 81.
Forever missed and loved by his wife Maria. Beloved father to Rui (Colleen), Paul (Brenda), Christina (Tony), and Rosa (Cesar).
Proud grandfather to Christen, Kassie, Joshua, Justin, Michael, Timothy and Emma. Rui was also a great grandfather to Liam, Maison and Aria.
He will be sorely missed and forever held dear in the hearts of all his family and many friends.
A private visitation will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin Street) with a service to follow in the Chapel on Thursday June 4th. Private interment to follow.
For the safety of the family and guests, a public visitation will not take place at the funeral home. A live stream of Rui’s visitation and service will be available on the funeral home website. *Check with that website after 2 p.m. Wednesday for information for the link to watch the Thursday service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
