Beloved husband of 65 years to Jocelyn Cooper, loving father and father-in-law of Stephen (Diane) Cooper, Brian (Nancy) Cooper, Shari (Robert) Friedman.
Cherished Zaidy to Daniel, Elisheva (Asher), Aiden, Adina, Becky, and Rayna. Great grandfather to Yisrael Amihai. Dear brother of the late Edith (Max) Olioff, and brother-in-law of Deena Dlusy Apel (Max Beer).
Jerry was a huge personality, and his reach was enormous. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Jocelyn, his children, grandchildren and great grandchild, his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and all of the friends he made in Montreal, Peterborough, Deerfield Beach, and Toronto throughout the years.
Thanks To Dr. D. Robson, the oncology clinic and chemo staff; thanks to Dr. D. Leung and everyone connected with the palliative care unit at NYGH for the compassion and care Jerry received over the past 2 years and in this last week.
