Guerreiro JacintoGUERREIRO, Jacinto Maria - It is with the greatest sorrow that our beloved Tio Jacinto passed away on July 11, 2020 at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

Tio Jacinto as he was known to many will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 63 years Januaria Dos Santos Guerreiro, his three children Victor (wife Lorraine), Jack (wife Catherine), Paula ( husband Michael) and three grandchildren Matthew, Adam and Rachel and his dog Charlie.

Our father was the local community barber in Kensington Market (Guerreiro’s Barber Shop) where he devoted his entire working life serving his community touching the hearts of generations of families as clients who became his friends.

Jacinto lived in Alexandra Park Co-op for approximately 48 years in the same house, proudly serving his community for decades.

A special thank you to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital Reactivation Centre and MSH main site for the wonderful care they provided during these extremely stressful and unusual times. We were not able to see to our father for the last four months, but everyone at RCC became his family during the last 1 1/2 years and loved and cared for him as we would.

So our gratitude to you all for your loving support and compassion. We can never show you how truly appreciative we are for all you have sacrificed during last few months.

Papa until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.  We already miss seeing your beautiful smile and hearing your little chuckles. May you finally be at peace father.
