MCKINLAY, James Edmund - On November 11, 2020 Jim, loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend was taken from us. His year long battle with esophageal cancer ended peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones.
Predeceased by parents James and Bernice, and sister Elaine (Ross).
He will be dearly missed by his wife Katy, children Jeannette, Leanne and James, brothers Paul (Lee), Mark (Linda) and Matthew (Margarita), nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Jim (Jimmie) was a truly kind and generous man whose boundless wisdom and witty humour challenged our minds and touched our hearts. A profound perspective and appreciation of beauty inspired his remarkable creativity and passion for music, arts and literature. He was a man of exceptional character and brought tremendous love and care to everyone he met, and everything he did.
We love him completely and will carry him with us forever.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
