Wells DavidWELLS, David Peebles   -  June 15, 1935 - January 8, 2021

It is with inconsolable grief that the family of David Wells announces that after a valiant struggle, David left us on January 8, 2021.

David passed peacefully with his family around him.

Left behind is his sweetheart of 67 years, Elizabeth (née Casey), daughter Elaine (Patrick), son Graeme (Tracy) and his grandson David Parsons.

David was born in Glasgow, Scotland.

He served time in the Royal Air Force and worked as an electrician with Weir Pacific Valves. David was a Freemason, and spent many years shaping the lives of youths as a captain in the Boys Brigade in Glasgow, 118th Company Brigade.

David was an Elder in the Kings Park Parish Church.

Together with Liz and his family, he immigrated to Canada in 1974, living first in Mississauga and retiring to the Bronte Harbour area of Oakville.

As an electrical engineer and Master Electrician, David worked with BP, Gulf Oil and The East York Board of Education, always loving what he was doing.

David touched the lives of many people.

He was a gentleman, a kind soul and was loved by all.
