MITCHELL (WALSH), Mary Ellen (nee FORD) - 1938 - 2021 On January 11, 2021, Mary Mitchell (nee Ford) died peacefully in her sleep just shy of her 83rd birthday.
Born in Fleur-de-Lys, Newfoundland, loving wife of the late Marcel H. Mitchell, and former spouse of the late Joseph L. Walsh, Mary leaves her devoted children Rick (Rita), Nancy (Paul), Jeff, and Shari Ann (Michael).
She was immensely proud of her 10 grandchildren Hailey, Victoria, Alyssa, William, Sarah, Elizabeth, Cameron, Madeline, Jack, and Benjamin.
Known as Nana, Grandma or Gramma-Darling, she made every one of her children and grandchildren feel special and loved.
Special thanks to the incredible staff at The Woodhaven LTC Home in Markham, who cared for Mary brilliantly with warmth and compassion over the last four years.
A cremation will be taking place, followed by interment in Toronto.
