So PamelaSO, Pamela Yee-Sheung   - A Lifetime Educator, Beloved Sister, Aunt and Friend It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Pamela Yee-Sheung So on January 8, 2021 in Markham, Ontario.

Pamela, with her life-long best friend, Winnie Chan, at her side left us peacefully at the age of 84.

Born in Hong Kong, Pamela graduated the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor's in Education and attained a Master's in Linguistics at the University of Leeds, England.

She taught at the Queen Elizabeth and Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary Schools prior to embarking on a career in teaching the educators of tomorrow at the Northcote College of Education and the Sir Robert Black College of Education.

She retired in 1994 as Vice Principal of Sir Robert Black College. As a lifelong educator, she will be remembered by her thousands of students and fellow educators.

Growing up during the war, Pamela was a caring sister, friend and mother figure to all her siblings.

She was predeceased by her sisters (Yvonne and Vera) and her brothers (Victor and Albert). She will be missed by her best friend Winnie, her siblings Amy, Edgar and Alice, and 16 nieces, nephews and their families.

No funeral service will be held in accordance with Pamela's wishes.

A family celebration of life will take place at a later time.

Our family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Chartwell Woodhaven Long Term Care and the emergency department nurses at Markham Stouffville Hospital.
