Encarnacion NanayENCARNACION, Caridad 'Nanay' - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Caridad “Nanay” Encarnacion on Thursday January 21, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

Nanay is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband Rodolfo and parents Tranquilina Treno and Eugenio Jardeleza.

Nanay was the cherished mother of Gilda and her husband Rolando De La Rosa, Ceil and her husband Restituto Guingcangco, Belen and her husband Felicisimo Borabien (predeceased), Romeo and his wife Susan Encarnacion and Rogelio and his wife Ruby Encarnacion.

She was the devoted grandmother of Adrienne De La Rosa, Marco De La Rosa, Angelica De La Rosa, Rachel Guingcangco-Leonor, Sophia Guingcangco, Angela Guingcangco, Karlo Encarnacion, Kristian Encarnacion, Katrina David, Juan Carlos Encarnacion, Anna Patricia Encarnacion, Cassandra Grace Encarnacion, and Ana Carmela Borabien-Asturias, and will forever be the great grandmother of Kevin Archer Leonor and Von Carlo Astruias.

She was the adored sister of Maura Hilay and her late husband Federico.

“Nanay” will be deeply missed by her family and friends in Canada, the USA, and the Philippines and all who knew her.

Arrangements entrusted with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home, church and cemetery has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people. As a result, the visitation, Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held in private.

For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home, church and cemetery comply with current by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks.
