ALPHONSO, Caesar J. - October 1st, 1933 – January 24th, 2021 - It is with great sadness that the family of Caesar Alphonso announces his passing on January 24, 2021, at the age of 87.
Lovingly remembered by Balbina, his wife of 59 years and their children: Jude (Fenella) and Luvenn (Maria & family); and his grandchild, Breanna Alphonso.
Caesar was born in Bombay, India in 1933 and migrated to Bahrain in 1959.
He married his beautiful bride, Balbina in 1961. Today marks 3 months short of their 60th Wedding Anniversary.
He was a dedicated employee of MENAS (Middle East Navigation Aids Services) for many years.
When they lived in Bahrain, they had many opportunities to travel around the world accompanied by their children, eventually making his way to Canada in 1990.
During his time in Canada, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as volunteering his time with many patients at Scarborough General Hospital.
He will be fondly remembered and held dear in the hearts of his family and many friends.

A private service for family only will be held on Wednesday, January 27th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
