Wong DaytonWONG, Dayton - On Saturday March 6, 2021, Dayton, loving husband of Julette Wong and father of two children Micheal Wong, and Stephanie Wong passed away at the age of 72.

Dayton Wong was born on September 10, 1948 in Kingston, Jamaica to Louis and Yee Heung (Chin) Wong. He went to St. George's College in Kingston and technical college in New York City.

On March 25, 1973 he marred Julette CHin. They raised their two children Michael, and Stephanie.

Dayton retired in 2009. He had a passion for family genealogy and was an avid music lover, ranging from reggae to folk to pop culture. He was a sports fanatic that loved to watch football (soccer), cricket, basketball, and tennis.

As one of my Dad's great friends describes "Dayton will live on in our memories as a most decent, calm, thoughtful and intelligent human being. His favorite response to uncertain situations and complex technical problems was "most likely". Dayton was predeceased by his father Louis.

He is survived by his mother, Yee Heung, his wife Julette, his children Michael and Stephanie, daughter in law Veronika, grand-daughters Chiara and Seraphina, his brothers William and Milton, a niece, several nephews and cousins.

Arrangements with Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
