ELS, Richard Stephen - Died peacefully on May 10, 2021 at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto, ON at the age of 84.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 61 years Elizabeth, his three daughters, Jennifer (Ian) McIntyre, Karen (Robert) Dandridge & Janice Case (Simon Taylor), his six grandchildren Elizabeth (Tim) Neal, William McIntyre (Corisa McKee), Rachel (Wylie) Webster, Michael Dandridge, Madeleine Case & Richard Case, his great granddaughter Edythe Neal, and Toronto nephew, Mark Els.
Born in Durban, South Africa Jan 29, 1937, Richard began his career as a court reporter in Bulawayo (Rhodesia), immigrated to Canada in Sept 1966 where he continued his career as a court reporter in the Supreme Court of Ontario for 30 years.
He enjoyed anything computer related, model trains, model planes, Beethoven and The Rolling Stones.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sadler and the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre.
