Cherished grandmother to Eden, Julian, Noah and Ezra.
Devoted friend and confidant to countless others. Barbara spent her life in the service of others. Her empathy was inexhaustible. She made time to hear the stories of everyone she encountered, sharing their joy and sadness as if it were her own. She counselled and consoled family members, friends and casual acquaintances as they struggled with life's challenges, remembering every important detail of their lives.
In addition to her many friendships, her greatest joy was family. She made her home a gathering place for her children and grandchildren, and remained a connected and influential force to her many extended relatives around the world.
A gravesjde service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Memorial donations may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
