ROMITA, Biagio - March 16, 1942 - June 5, 2021.
Born in Modugno di Bari, Puglia, Italy; gained his angel wings in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
At the age of 79 he was a devoted husband of 52 years to his wife Tina; loving Father to Tonia (Anthony), Mary (Gino); proud Grandfather to Marcus, Sierra, Kira and Mirella.
Biagio expressed unconditional love and generosity to his extended family which included his sister, brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousin in-laws.
His close friends whom he considered family held a very special place in his heart and cherished them dearly, especially his longtime “brother” Tony.
He was considered a jack of all trades and was generous with his time in helping anyone with renovations, and much of his expertise brought forth from working at the Ontario Science Centre for over 30 years.
The Romita family would like to thank you all for your support, comforting words and thoughtful gestures through this difficult time.
In Lieu of gifts or flowers the family ask that you consider giving generously to Prostate Cancer Cancer and donations can be made in honour of Biagio Romita.
There will be no open public visitation. A chapel service will be celebrated on Monday, June 7, 2021. Due to physical distancing restrictions the maximum capacity and her visitation speed is 10 people including family.
