De Gonzalez Elena NenaDe GONZALEZ, Elena 'Nena' Trujillo - Elena “Nena” Trujillo De Gonzalez passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on June 11th, 2021 at the age of 70.

Nena was born on September 10th, 1950 in El Salvador. Leaving behind the love of her life, her husband of 50 years Salvador Gonzalez Bolaños, also her three children Salvador Alberto, Sandra Maria and René Mauricio to whom she was an incredible mother.

Nena also leaves behind 5 beloved grandchildren Anthony, Alexander, Tawnia, Daniel and Nathen who loved her immensely and will miss her terribly. She leaves behing her nephew Fabio Palacios, who will miss her dearly.

She was also close and will be tremendously missed by her daughters-in-law Monika Gonzalez and Sandra Sanchez.

Elena was an incredible woman. Under the duress of civil war in El Salvador she picked up her family and made the move to Canada seeking safety and a better life for her family, she found employment in a small restaurant called Tacos El Asador. When the owners were looking to move on she jumped on the opportunity to make the restaurant her own. With her impeccable work ethic, her perseverance and homemade recipes along with support of her husband and sons allowed Tacos El Asador to grow to the success it is today.

She has touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. She was a humble servant of God and allowed God to lead her through her life and now God had brought her home to her eternal resting place. May she forever Rest In Peace.

The team of Jerrett Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel wishes to remind you that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all Funeral Services are private.
