Wilkins SarahWILKINS, Sarah   - 1930 - 2021  Our beloved Aunt Sarah passed away on June 13th, at the age of 91.

She was the matriarch of the Wilkins and Wilson families.

Although she never married, she had many children in the form of nephews and nieces and great and great-great-nephews and nieces, too numerous to mention.

She was in constant touch with most of them, some of whom dwell far and wide.

Sarah was born in New Brunswick to Walter and Jeanie Wilkins and was the youngest of 8.

Her brothers and sisters were Bill (Phyllis), Jack (Iris), Walter, Charlie (Gladys), Maisie (Harold), Jean (Wilfred), and Nancy (Dit).

All of her siblings predeceased her. She was proudly independent but loved being surrounded by family, participating in every possible get-together, and there were many. When anyone wanted to know what was happening, we'd just ask Sadie.

She was the pipeline to all the family news, although never via Facebook or other media means; The telephone was her best friend. Sarah spent her working life in Montreal and Toronto and retired after many years in both cities with the CIBC.

She will be sorely missed by all who ever made her acquaintance, and especially by her family who cherished hearing from and seeing her.

A memorial service will be held in Montreal, as soon as permissible, and we will inform everyone then.
