Robinson StewartROBINSON, Stewart "Wayne"   -  May 12, 1938 - June 13, 2021

Forever in our Hearts Passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital after gracefully battling cancer for 12 months.

Wayne leaves behind his bride of 58 years, Betty (nee Jordan), 3 daughters, Kimberlee (Ken), Kelly, (John 2009), Kristina (Brad), 9 grandchildren, Erin, Samantha (Kurt), Scotty, Jack, Julia, Cole, Brock, Kennedy and Kate; and 2 adorable great-granddaughters, Charlie and Blake.

Wayne spent 39 years working for the Toronto Star where he was instrumental in launching the New Homes section.

In 1994 he retired and enjoyed many years RV'ing all across North America, from Florida to Alaska eventually splitting their time between Prince Edward County and Fort Myers Beach, FL.

As longtime members of the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club, they would spend their summers boating the Bay of Quinte. In lieu of flowers, donations to The BGH Foundation, supporting Cancer Care would be very much appreciated.

The family would like to thank ALL of the health care workers who provided kind, compassionate care to Wayne.

A sincere thank-you to his nurse Michelle from Home and Community Care Services, the wonderful Team at the QHC Dr. Douglas A MacIntosh Cancer Clinic and finally, the Quinte 4 nursing and care team and the special support they gave to Wayne and his family in his final days.

A celebration of Wayne's life will be held outdoors at their home in Rossmore on July 24, 2021. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for details.
