Grenci VincenzoGRENCI, Vincenzo - Vincenzo Grenci passed away on Thursday July 22, 2021, just surpassing his 90th birthday the day prior.

Devoted husband to Maria of 64 years and proud father to Nicola (Teresa) and Rosa (Carmelo). Loving Nonno to Anthony (Anne-Marie), Nicholas, Michael, Anna Maria (Vito), Mark, and Vincenzena, and a joyous great grandfather to Giulia.

Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Rosaria of Torre di Ruggiero, Catanzaro, Calabria.

Vincenzo came to Canada in 1959 with his wife and children shortly after the birth of his daughter. He was a family man. He worked hard to provide for his family and was determined to create a better life for them in their new home.

Vincenzo had many stories to tell and enjoyed sharing them with his grandchildren. His favorite pastimes were playing a game of cards and taking care of his garden. Vincenzo and his wife Maria had a shared love for their summer garden that they took pride in growing tomatoes and extra large zucchini, it always made him so excited and happy. He loved making his homemade vino, tomato sauce, and gnocchi (which he referred to as berretti).

Vincenzo will be dearly missed by his family and life-long friends. His family will be forever grateful for all of his hard work and sacrifices throughout his life.

We all love you and miss you so much, until we meet again. Rest in Peace Chief/Nonno.

In lieu of flowers, Donations to The Little Flower would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements are entrusted with Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge chapel.

The family thanks you during this time.
