Harriott JoelHARRIOTT, Joel Daniel - Passed away on July 20, 2021.

He was born Monday, November 5th 1984 to Sonia Grandison and Howard Harriott at Centenary Hospital.

He was determined to be a part of this world causing complications at birth in order to have an early arrival and make his entrance known.

Seeing that he was a quick starter from the beginning, not only did he enter early, he also walked at 9 months and made it his quest to be independent.

His mission was to take care of home, siblings, and anyone else who crossed his path.

Being multi-talented, multi-faceted, and just a blessing overall enabled Joel to be chosen for lead roles in the Wizard of Oz, Nutcracker, and the Gospel Performance “God Spell.” He wrote many songs and was affiliated with the group “The Entourage.” As a hobby, he enjoyed his artistic taste for singing, painting, drawing, and fashion.

For those who have truly known Joel, will attest that he is a man of God and a man of love. He always put everyone else's issues above his own. If he had anything that anyone needed, he would not hesitate to retrieve or give all that he had so that the person was satisfied. Making others feel comfortable and happy was part of Joel’s DNA. It’s innate for him to take care of others despite going through his own hardships and feeling turmoil on the inside.

Joel will be dearly missed by his two sons, Dante and Josiah. He was a loving caring father and brother to Andrew, Chris, and Paul. His warm and loving spirit was the by-product of his Christian upbringing which cultivated his relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He was full of life, honest, humorous, charismatic, creative and had a magnetic personality.

A true friend to many, stranger to no one, put’s 100% in all works, perfectionist at heart and such a gentle soul.

Although you are in a great place, your spirit and the memories you have shared will forever be in our hearts.
