Wilson TimWILSON, Timothy Kelley - Born in Toronto, ON, November 16, 1956, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2021 due to natural causes.

Tim was predeceased by his parents Ernest F Wilson and Louise (Kelley) Wilson, and by his partner of 30 years Pamela Wilkinson.

He is survived by his sons Cort and Cameron, and by his four siblings Craig, Patricia, Michelle, and Jim and their respective families.

Tim grew up mainly in southern NB, graduated from Rothesay High School, then moved to Waterloo and graduated from University of Waterloo in Math & Computer Science.

He had active sport interests in his youth beginning with swimming at the YMCA in St Catherines ON with coach Rudolph, then with Brian Berry in Saint John NB, who each gave him a solid foundation that eventually translated into national level competition with UW in CIAU competition and with Ottawa Kingfish Swim Club at Summer National Championships and Olympic Trials.

He was a member of the UW Team that won at CIAU Championships in 1977 and 1978.

Tim and Pam remained in the Toronto area while raising their sons.

Tim cared for those around him. He was the primary caregiver at end of life for his parents and partner, and in a symbiotic twist for the family dog, Daisy. While Tim became her person, she helped to lead him, as much as was possible, out of the sorrows of family loss. We are now the ones who have lost a much loved Dad and brother. We are grateful for the time we had but wish we had much more.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11, 9 Dawes Road, Toronto, on Thursday October 28th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Friends and relatives are encouraged to join us to share your stories of Tim.
