Paffett IdaPAFFETT, Ida (nee STRASH)  -  February 18, 1929 - November 13, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother on November 13, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert (Al) Paffett in 2008.

Predeceased by parents, Walter and Stasha Strash; sister, Regina Palamar (William), and brother, Walter Strash (Hannelore). Survived by sister, Lillian MacDonald (Jack).

Fantastic mother and mother-in-law to Sandra (John Porco) and Deborah (Michael Gedz).

Loving Buti to Alexandra Wecker (Michael), Bianca DeBerardis (Paul), Christian Gedz, and Brandon Porco (Nicolle).

Super and adoring Buti to Lily, Violet, and Rosie Wecker; Celeste and Ilaria DeBerardis. Fur Buti to many. Wonderful aunt to goddaughter Cassandra, William, Kerri, Walter, Shawn, and Candace. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and graciousness to everyone she met will be missed by all her family and friends.

We will miss her delicious cabbage rolls, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.

In keeping with Ida's wishes, cremation has taken place. Her Celebration of Life will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Scarborough, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 3 p.m. Masks must be worn and visitors must be double vaccinated with proof.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Sts. Peter & Paul Senior Residence (non-profit nursing home), 221 Milner Ave., Scarborough, ON M1S 4P4, where she resided for the past 7 years and was lovingly cared for.

The family would like to thank ALL the staff and in all departments, especially the Nursing and PSW staff. We really appreciate every single one of you.
