Nobert GloriaNOBERT, Gloria Jean Ruth Nobert  -  in her 82nd year.

She was sassy, generous, outspoken, glamorous, and beautiful.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria on December 28th 2021.

Gloria will be missed by her husband of 62 years, John Nobert. Her children; John (Jackie), Sherri (Steve) and Chris (Moyra). Her grandchildren; Amanda (Daniele) Cameron, Sarah (Kyle) Cari (Alexander) Kristie (Jason) and Karlie (Jack). Her great grandchildren; Adelynn, Antonio and Luca.

John once said “my life would have gone a very different way if I hadn’t met Gloria”. John and Gloria loved to give each other a hard time, but could be found flirting again just as quickly.

They loved their walks in the park to feed their animals, and trips to the mall where John took on the important role of the Shopping Bag Holder (which he did with little to no complaints at all).

They loved each other endlessly, and fiercely. Gloria will be fondly remembered by many friends and by many family members.

We will miss this over-the-top, fabulous woman and we’ll remember her every time we catch a glimmer of something sparkly.

A celebration picnic is planned for the spring in Sunnybrook Park at Gloria and John’s favourite spot by the bird feeders.

Be sure to wear your best sparkly shoes. BYOB (bring your own bird feed).
