BRANDENBURG, Eva - With sadness we announce the passing of Eva Brandenburg (nee Troost) on January 16, 2022.
Eva was born in Zuid-Beijerland in the Netherlands in 1942 and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1960.
She was predeceased by her parents Aria and Jacob Troost, and by her sister Willie.
Eva was the loving mother of Paul (Donna) and Rob (Maddie), grandmother of Jordan, Zenyah and Zayden, the elder sister of Bill (Kathleen), Ria (Jack Marentette), Willie (Elwood Price) and Kees (Beverly McKell), and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her stunning ikebana floral arrangements and her tasty nasi goreng dishes.
Eva enjoyed travelling and had many friends around the world.
We will miss her warmth and kindness.
Memorial donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Eva's name would be appreciated.
