Keeler MargaretKEELER, Margaret (nee HIVES)    -  September 21, 1923 - March 9, 2022

Mom passed away peacefully in her home. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ronald Keeler.

Dedicated loving mother to the late Bryan (Louise Lanctot), Lawrence (Jovette Lavoie) and Barbara (Brian Kneeshaw).

Loved and greatly missed by 8 grandchildren, Richard (Michelle), Matthew (Alisa), Ryan (Shannon), Michael (Ashley), Tom (Emily) Max, Isabelle (Patrick Hogan) and Marcus (Katie Broders). Also 10 great-grandchildren and beloved aunt to 8 nieces and nephews.

Mom was born in Ireland and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1924 with her parents and sisters Ella, Edith and brother Ken.

She then moved to Ottawa following her marriage to Ron.

She made many lifelong friends there who they kept close with even after a move to Toronto.

She was an active volunteer for 25 years at Queensway General Hospital and was known for her kindness and generosity by all she met.

Mom and Dad spent many wonderful years at Still Home cottage on Lake Joseph for more than 30 years hosting friends and family.

Mom was able to enjoy her final years in her home in Aurora due to the loving care she received from Monica and her support team Dora, Ursula and Anne for which the family will be forever grateful.

Mom will be forever remembered for her genuine love, kindness and laughter. We love you and miss you. God now has you in his keeping and we have you forever in our hearts.

As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Remembrance Service will be held at Trinity Church on Saturday, April 16th, at 1:00 p.m., 79 Victoria Street, Aurora, Ontario L4G 1R3.
