McLeod AudreyMcLEOD, Audrey Eleanor   -  Died peacefully, on March 18, 2023, in her 93rd year.

 

Predeceased by her parents, William and Evelyn (nee Coole) Gibson. Loving wife of Donald for 66 years, devoted mother of Robin McLeod and Andrea Pringle, proud grandmother of Austin and Evan Pringle.

 

Audrey was an artist, singer and pianist who sang Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the Mendelssohn Choir at Carnegie Hall, directed the Westmoreland United Church Junior Choir in her early twenties, led the St. John's United Church Junior Choir for 17 years, was pianist and director of the Melody Makers for 17 years, and led the Serenata Singers seniors' choir for 20 years.

Friends are invited to join the family on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Drive, Toronto, with a Celebration of Life at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to War Child Canada or Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund would be appreciated.

 

Special thanks to her dear friends the Eisel family and the Palliative Care Team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
