NISHIMURA, Raymond Dan -
August 17, 1962 – May 10, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Raymond.
After a brief illness, Raymond passed away peacefully, at Hospice Vaughan.
Predeceased by loving parents, Yutaka Glenn and Chiyeko Janet (nee Otaguro); cherished sister, Connie; and adored grandma, Sumiye Otaguro. Survived by brother, Rick (Yuki); Auntie Kay Otaguro; and cousins, Jamie (Tracey), Stan (Kathy), Darrell (Judy) and David. Cinema was Raymond's passion in life.
He was a longtime patron of the Toronto International Film Festival and a supporter of its wonderful programs.

Heartfelt thanks to amazing friends, Amy and Joyce Ito and very dear soul sister, Jeanette Mugford, who often visited and comforted Raymond while hospitalized.
A private family funeral will be held at the Toronto Buddhist Church and a Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or Koden, donations may be made to Hospice Vaughan.
